Influence of microphase separation and crosslinking density on dynamic viscoelastic properties of nano‐<scp>Fe₃O₄</scp> modified polyurethane

Abstract Although there have been some studies on the preparation and characteristics of nano‐Fe 3 O 4 ‐filled polyurethane (PU) composites, research focusing quantitative influence degree microphase separation (DPS) crosslinking density (CLD) dynamic viscoelastic properties is rare. In this paper, PU composites are synthesized by incorporating as fillers. The mechanical under alternating loads investigated using analysis. influences DPS CLD hysteresis loss analyzed. experimental results show that nanocomposites increase then decrease with addition reached a maximum at amount 1.0 wt%. relationships between DPS, different filler ratios obtained. With wt% content, strain energy (SED) (HED) increased 416% 354%, respectively. hysteretic H indexes all kept lower than pure PU. These make promising material for reducing rolling resistance increasing service life fuel‐saving tire materials.
